Three Tone Lipsticks Review

As promised in my last post about my trip to HK,  I am going to share with you some of the amazing makeup products I found in Hong Kong in a series of articles, this place was full of really innovative cosmetics and even though I couldn’t pick up everything I wanted I did get some really cool stuff. In this article I will show you the Three Tone Lipsticks I found which are simply pretty!
Ombré and Reverse Ombré  lips are the biggest lip trend in Asian Countries. So finding a three tone lipstick was not at all surprising, but I must say I found them so pretty that I wanted to buy it in every shade possible.

These Maybelline Lipsticks come in many shades, always in a three tone style dark, medium and light. The idea is to get a quick and easy ombré without having to buy two or three lipsticks to get the effect.

This 3-in-one lipstick has another amazing quality of smelling so yummy that putting it on your lips is an absolute pleasure.

What to expect when you wear it

Black Berry Cinnamon

Ombré Lip
: I was pleasantly surprised with the coverage of the lipstick, as I have very pigmented lips I was afraid of the colors not showing. Just one layer and you have the quickest ombré lip ever.

Use the lipstick holding the darkest shade up for the effect.

To make your lipstick last longer, outline your lips using a lip pencil before application in the shade of the darkest color and blend inwards. Do not apply the lip liner all over the lips or else the ombré effect won’t show.

no lip liner just one layer of lipstick

Reverse Ombré Lip : The best part is you can use this lipstick in two different ways, holding the lipstick with the lightest shade up, you can get a Bitten Lip effect in seconds.

This lipstick keeps the lips hydrated and is very comfortable to wear. The texture is creamy, though its not very long lasting, its really easy to touchup.

A great product for beginners. For a more intense and Pro Ombré Lip checkout my post on Ombré using a white lipstick.
