Naturally Well-Defined Eyelashes Routine!

Hello Guys

Recently I have been wearing a really natural everyday makeup look.

  • A very light coverage Water-Based Foundation Water Blend
  • Big Fat Lashes, I really take my time to get beautiful lashes with volume, length and all those good things without making it look fake.
  • Little Blush & No Contouring
  • A Beautiful Lipstick

and I am good to go 🙂 Today I Will share with you the products and techniques I use to get naturally well-defined lashes which have been a key to the look I have been sporting.

  1. CURL YOUR LASHES

Curling your lashes is a crucial step to achive beautifully doneup lashes, I usually use an Eyelash Curler but I while I was in Hong Kong I stumbled upon this amazing tool which I am so excited to share with you 🙂

HOT BRUSH EYELASH CURLER

This is an efficient and quick way to curl your lashes, though I wouldn’t recommend its usage on a daily basis (I am scared that heating the lashes everyday will make them very fragile), it’s a “nice to have” product in your makeup kit.

It works with a battery.

Don’t comb through your Lashes with this curler, just lift and hold the lashes for a few seconds and repeat till you achive the desired curl.

2. ADD FIBERS & PROTECTIVE SERUM

Adding Fibers is the next step in achieveing a naturally full set of lashes. At the moment I am loving the  Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer.

This product is my current favorite, because it gives my eyelashes extreme volume instantly and even further intensifies the curl. I have noticed upon regular usage my eyelashes have become stronger and look more curled.

I use it in the daytime under my favorite Mascara and at night on my bare lashes as an eyelash mask.

3. MASCARA

Current Favorite : Excessive Lash Mascara from MakeUp ForEver

The choice of Mascara as well as the way you apply it is very important for the result you are looking for. Excessive Lash Mascara comes with a small wand which really helps me to coat each lash from root to tip with ease. Also the brush has soft and hard bristles which enables a generous application while separating the lashes alongside the application.

For Volume : Apply the mascara from the roots of the lashes making a little zig zag motion to build volume.

For Length : Comb through the lashes from the roots till the end with long strides.

No Clumps : Avoid Clumps for this look, as we wish our eyelashes to look as natural as possible. Before applying Mascara remove the excess product from the wand on the sides of the tube.

I like to apply two layers of Mascara to get a neat buildup, if I get clumps I separate my lashes using an Eyelash Comb, you can even use a fine pin.

4. THE FINAL TOUCH

To finish add a black water proof eye pencil on the upper waterline. This adds depth, makes the lashes look thicker, makes your eyes look bigger, it almost works as an invisible eyeliner!

Don’t hesitate to add the primer and Mascara on your Lower Lashes! I hope you enjoyed reading and discovering the products I am currently using for my eyelash routine. Do share with me your favorite eyelash products!

Take care and have a great weekend!
