Thank you for the love on this look on our insta story 🙂 I decided to recreate this look step by step to share with you how I did it! let’s get to it 🙂
Oftentimes when we think “grey” we think dull, boring, drab and not exciting. It is an “in between” color (black and white) with no real character. So when I was faced with the challenge of teaming it up, I decided to go with another “in between” color (red and blue), the result was beautiful and I am super excited to share it with you guys.
Let’s start with the complexion, I started with a full coverage complexion! I used Ultra HD stick foundation from Make Up For Ever.
Next, for the eyes I started by using a purple base. I applied Aquamatic I 90.
I blended it outwards t create an elongated effect. Do the same on the lower lashline.
You will need three shades of purple for this, one with a bluish undertone (dark), one with a pinkish undertone (medium) and a light shade to add as highlight. I used eyeshadows from NYX – MANEATER-TRUE VIOLET, HARLEQUIN-IRIDESCENT PURPLE, LOLITA-MATTE LILAC.
Apply the second shade in the crease and blend well. Apply it on the lowerlashline under the first eyeshadow and blend.
The lightest shade goes on the inner corner as highlight!
Finish the eyes with a generous amount of mascara and black kohl on the waterline.
Now let’s apply our famous GREY LIPSTICK 🙂 I used the Sephora Liquid Lipstick in No 21, its name is Pretty Beige beige but it goes on grey lilac!
Few other options of grey liquid lipsticks HERE.
I accesorized my look with a statement neckpiece from Boho Queen Jewellery.
I hope you enjoyed this makeup look!
