Super Easy DIY Belly (Anti Stretch Marks) Butter.

Hi friends,

For those of you who missed our recent Insta Story announcement , I am super excited to announce to you guys that I am pregnant .. yaaayyyyy! I am sorry to have been missing in action for these three months, I had a really hard first trimester, I will talk about it in another post. I am back, and this time with a DIY Stretch marks cream – which is great for women during their pregnancy, and for anyone who is looking for a super rich cream for dry skin. As always its a super simple and super easy to make DIY!I recently attended the baby shower of my close friend and I thought why not make her something special 🙂 a moisturizing belly butter to prevent stretch marks and after using this body butter she gave me a lot of great feedback about it, so I am really happy to share this with you.

DIY Belly Butter - chai and lipstick

To make this Belly Butter I used 3 ingredients that would help to keep the skin well hydrated. As everything you put on the skin gets absorbed into the body I love making my own creams as I would know exactly what goes into them. I didn’t add any essential oils to the butter as many of them might not be safe to use during pregnancy.

 Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup  coco butter – to learn more about its benefits click here.

Coco butter: is packed with antioxidants and saturated fats that are very good to keep the skin hydrated and heal dry and cracked skin, and promotes collagen production.

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil – to learn more about its benefits click here.

Coconut oil: is a saturated fat that helps to hydrate and repair skin. It also has antibacterial and antifungal properties that protect the skin.

  • 1/4 cup almond oil – to learn more about its benefits click here.

Almond oil:  naturally contains vitamin E which is very good for the skin. This oil gets easily absorbed in skin helping it remain flawless and smooth.
