During pregnancy, your body undergoes a lot of changes. It is working hard continuously to cope and provide for your growing baby. Pregnancy no doubt is one of the best journeys a woman can experience, but it is also a time to give extra attention to your body. Your skin is doing a whole lot of work during pregnancy, as it is stretching to accommodate your growing baby. And this can leave your skin dry and itchy begging for attention. I love trying out different skincare products, and especially love sharing it with you guys!
Over the past few months, I have been trying a few products for my bump so that I can prevent the appearance of stretch marks. I know stretch marks are inevitable during pregnancy but we can at least try to prevent them.
I have been using this butter by Nature Bare Body Care for about 4-5 weeks now. And I am excited to share my experience with you guys.
What does this Belly Butter contain?
This luxurious butter is a mixture of butter, oils, and clay that helps lock the moisture and keep skin supple and hydrated.
The main ingredients are mango butter, shea butter, avocado oil, olive oil which are good for keeping the skin hydrated and Kaolin clay which is good for irritated skin and soothes sensitive skin. This is a perfect blend of ingredients especially which a dry and sensitive skin during pregnancy.
You can get this butter in two variations unscented or with a mild scent of lavender. I have been using the one with lavender and love the calming and soothing effect.
How to apply
Scoop a small amount of the belly butter, warm it with your fingers, and apply on the belly, hips, and breast. I love to use it right after I am out of the shower as it helps to lock in the moisture.
I am definitely in love with the Nature Bare Body Care belly butter and would like to recommend this to all you mommies to be. The highlight of this product is that it is paraben, paraffin, and dairy free and it’s vegan! What more could we ask for? Love Love Love it! The continuous use of belly butter can prevent excessive stretch marks and even lighten them. I have been using Nature Bare Body Care belly butter along with my own DIY belly butter religiously.
It is very reasonably priced at 17$ for a pack of 113.4g
