With our busy lifestyles and unlimited access to media, it’s important to take time off to reconnect with your body and mind to be able to give the best of yourself.
For me, I do this by treating myself to a relaxing spa day, if you have read my previous posts you know how I love to try out different places, and that’s how I end up sharing some really amazing places with you guys. Today is about my recent experience at Jiva Spa, if you are in Goa, this place is a must go to!
I love getting away for the weekend, and as I live in Goa I don’t have to go too far, as Goa has some of the most beautiful properties, and I love to explore to find hidden gems that I can share with you! Today, I am excited to share one such gem where I recently went on a weekend getaway, especially with Valentine’s day around the corner, this would be perfect for all you lovely people planning a day out with your better half!
Hey guys, it’s been a long time, lately, I have been super caught up and stressed out with work. I can say I’m living in a bag.always on the move with a jam-packed work schedule and I’ve been longing for some pampering. And what better way to achieve it than a good spa day. In today’s post, I am sharing with you a new spa I discovered, it’s a place I wanted to check off my list for quite some time now, Warren Tricomi Salon & Spa.
Warren Tricomi is a well-known wellness brand, present worldwide, so when they opened doors in Goa, it was a place I had to try, especially since they’ve been given a shoutout as ‘Goa’s Best Spa’! Most of you followed my stories on Instagram but today I’m going to share the whole experience in detail with you!
My First Impressions
Hidden inside Novotel Goa Resort and Spa Candolim lies this beautiful and oh so relaxing Warren Tricomi Salon and Spa. As soon as you enter you are enthralled into a land of luxury and wellness, it can be felt throughout the whole experience, right from the greetings to the goodbye everything was so well done.
As I reached there the staff welcomed me with a refreshing cranberry drink and wet towels and proceeded by explaining to me the variety of massage therapies they serve.
Signature Serene massage
Deep Tissue massage
Hot Stone massage
I chose the Signature Serene Massage and then was given a form to fill which includes all the details required by the masseuse like skin type, parts that require extra attention and injuries if any. I loved this tailor-made experience, the massage is really customized to suit your personal needs.
After evaluating the form she went on to give me a tour around and then showed me to my room which was a super cozy wooden cabin with all the necessities like the cupboard, jewelry box, changing room, washroom and bath. This cabin makes you feel lost in nature and has a great soothing effect on your mind.
I then got changed into the disposable spa garments that were provided. The session began with a feet wash and then proceeded to the massage table.
I then enjoyed this calming and healing body massage that promotes relaxation and releases physical and mental tension by soothing the nervous system. They used Jasmine and Mogra essential oils which restore circulation and really helps in the tranquillity of the mind. Post the treatment, I really felt relaxed and deeply re-balanced, something I was really in need of.
CRUSH OR NO CRUSH?
This was one experience I would really want to try again. Warren Tricomi provided me with a moment to reconnect with myself and made me stress hardy to take on my work with a rejuvenated mind and body.
Besides the spa, Warren Tricomi offers a whole range of other services like facials, scrubs, and their signature couples hammam ritual! I totally recommend a visit to whoever wishes a ‘me’ time. Like I would say a ‘true vacation’ for your senses, from professional staff to the whole ‘lost in nature’ blissful feeling you get when you there! Warren Tricomi Salon & Spa is also present in other cities in India – Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mussoorie, and Mumbai.
The Signature Serene Massage is priced at 2800 INR for 60mins and 3900 INR for 90mins.

If vacations are good staycations are even better!
What is a STAYCATION?
It’s a vacation in the place you live, so you don’t really travel out just stay – staycation!
It is also a new online service for people living in Paris to book a stay ( Sunday – Monday ) in a variety of exclusive places, at a great discounted price. Check them out here.
I have been living in Paris for 7 years and a chance to rediscover the city is exactly what I need. For our first staycation, we chose the 9th district of Paris. It is one of the most attractive districts of Paris, showcasing some of the most beautiful Hausmannien architectural works of the ‘Belle Époque’ era, from lavish shopping areas to the Palais Garnier. You can enjoy an amazing walk by the river Seine and enjoy the view of the Eiffel tower afar. Scroll down to read all about my stay at a very luxurious hotel in the 9th district of Paris – Hotel de NELL.
So we took the metro to our destination, it is the best part to not have hours of travel before reaching your destination – your destination is just minutes away!
Hotel de Nell is beautifully nestled in the 9th district, the welcome was warm and the check in very efficient. The staff is very professional, they showed us around the hotel, and then took us up to our room. They had some welcome sweets and a special note from ‘staycation’ to welcome us!
Our room was on the 6th floor, with a breathtaking view of a church and the rooftops of Paris city! It had the smallest cutest balcony I have ever seen, everything about the room was cozy and put us immediately on ‘holiday mode’.
The rooms are very contemporarily styled and have a Japanese style tub which is a true masterpiece and was the jewel in the crown of our stay at Hotel de NELL. To add to it are the two tea bath rituals from Bulgari – that smell like heaven and are really relaxing!
After exploring our room, it was time to hit the spa! The very famous Spa Nuxeoffers its services at Hotel de NELL. The spa room is at the -1 level of the hotel, I was super happy to make my way from the room to the spa in my bathrobe! We took the 45-minute massage that was really relaxing, the masseuse was very professional, I highly recommend to visit Spa Nuxe if you are here. They even gave us a few samples of Nuxe products at the end of the service.
Price: 88€ for a 45-minute massage.
At around 6pm, we were bought a bottle of champagne to our room, the perfect way to enjoy your bath!
Dinner at La Régalade
As we were having such a great time at the hotel, we didn’t want to step out, so we decided to have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel – La Régalade.
It is a very popular restaurant, which offers a 3-course (with 5 options each) dinner menu for 39€. The menu has dishes that have been there ever since the place opened, in addition to the ‘plat de jour’! And you guys, I must say everything was super tasty! The dishes are really beautifully crafted, visually very appealing and a total fiesta for the tastebuds!
Our Favorites at La Régalade
When we got back to our room we had another surprise gift waiting for us – a box of chocolates from ‘Maison du Chocolat’ and a Spa Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse dry oil! I absolutely love these cute surprises and felt really pampered! Another fun offer is the pillow menu at Hotel de NELL, we loved the pillows that were there so we didn’t change, but if you are in a mood to experiment do choose among their different pillow options. The next day, we had breakfast at ‘La Régalade’ restaurant, they offer a sumptuous continental buffet and fresh products like sausages and eggs etc for a supplement of 10€. After breakfast, we cozied up in the room, had another round in the tub and went off to get some final clicks in our bathrobes before leaving!
We absolutely loved our first staycation in Paris, it was truly romantic, the hotel inculcates the true essence of the city! We will surely be trying out other places. I highly recommend Hotel de NELL, for a chic Parisienne style stay! It’s attention to detail and little sweet surprises made it extra special. It has everything you need to cut out from the ‘metro – boulot – dodo‘ routine.
When we got back from Hotel de NELL, we felt like we got back from a vacation, it was a truly refreshing feeling, I do recommend staycations to break from the routine and explore and reconnect with the city you live in! I hope you enjoyed this article guys, see you soon with some other fun places to visit in Paris. Let me know in comments below if you have ever been on a staycation in your city!

In Goa, it is almost the end of summer. The heat is unbearable and after a super long and tiring week, Sunday calls for a relaxing brunch. So in search of a place closer to nature I discovered this cozy garden cafe in Anjuna call Artjuna.
Keep reading for deets on my ‘last day of summer’ outfit and my super relaxing and healthy Sunday brunch at Artjuna.
Last day of summer OOTD.
To beat this summer heat I wore a strappy yellow floral mini dress. It is a back open dress which is super stylish! I paired it with white sneakers. I accessorized with round shell earrings.
I love this dress, the color is really vibrant and puts you in that summery mood immediately and also the material is so light that you feel really comfortable.
One of my fav ways to leave behind work stress and tiredness is by having a laid back Sunday over a healthy meal, and cafe Artjuna is the best place for this if you are in Goa.
Beautifully nestled in an old Portuguese house, this arty cafe is easy to spot. Artjuna gives you some really ‘colorful’ vibes with its trendy decor in an ‘atelier style’ setup. The cozy garden sets in the Sunday mood instantly and has an outdoor picnic style seating which I love as it gives you a chance to mingle with other people easily. No need to worry about parking as it has its own little parking space opposite the cafe.
Cafe Artjuna also has its own boutique where they sell trendy boho style clothing and accessories, the indo western fusion just adds to the charm of this place and makes it even more attractive!
Artjuna actually has everything to make the day eventful, from yoga classes and an MMA center to the weekly movie screening (happens every Friday) and just when you think that’s all, you come across this little library with a collection of books of various languages! What else can we ask for?
Being a super hot summer day we decided to begin with refreshing drinks and ordered an ice tea and the super refreshing ‘cool as a cucumber’ drink.
We then chose the ‘Healthy Breakfast’ which included a delicious bowl of fresh fruit salad, curd, one egg of choice (I selected poached), brown bread, butter and jam and a glass of dress watermelon juice.
Albina chose the ‘Humshuka’ which included poached eggs in thick tomato sauce served with pickled vegetables, spicy chutney and pita bread.
The brunch is very copious and is really tasty. I was very pleasantly surprised by the importance Artjuna gives to the freshness and quality of the products.
Artjuna has a variety of tempting smoothies on their menu, all freshly prepared at the spur of the moment! Albina and I couldn’t resist trying out a few so, we selected Jammuna, Mango Bliss, and Surprise. All these smoothies are so yummy. My favorite was the Surprise which is made spinach, banana, coconut, cashew and coconut milk – It’s a must try at this cafe.
The passionate Artjuna team never stops… they also have a huge number of mouth-watering intricately created French desserts and is the only place in Goa u will find it. So if you are sweet toothed you know your next stop in Goa!

Summer is the perfect time to flaunt those floral prints, a great time to stop the layering trend and slip into something more minimal. And also to play with all those SS18 prints and colors we have been dying to try.
So in today’s post, I’m going to tell you all about my weekend summer outfit at my recent lunch date with my gal Albina at a super cool poolside restaurant at Hotel Park Regisin Goa, called Kai by the pool.
I wore a floral crop top and paired it with my favorite linen pants, perfect to beat the Goan summer heat. I love pairing up strong prints with plains, this really makes it stand out. I also went with a printed turban scarf. I advice two prints maximum in an outfit so as not to go overboard.
I styled my hair by wearing a turban, learn how to style a turban in a few easy steps HERE and my sunnies from Cocoleni which perfectly matched my pants. I kept all other accessories minimalistic and went with some really comfortable sneakers to complete the look, you could also team this look with a pair of open sandals!
Located inside Park Regis is a poolside restaurant name Kai by the pool. Albina and I discovered this place and fell in love with it. From its full of life ambiance to its amazing mouthwatering food, Kai by the pool can be your next destination for a relaxed poolside lunch or dinner. They eve have pool parties regularly in the evenings which go on till 3 in the morning.
The outdoor setting is so lively and full of color, it instills a great energy and promises a great time! The live DJ music really got us in the mood to party and Albina couldn’t help but groove to the fun beats.
We started off with the Kai’s special cocktail.
– Pineapple Pina Colada
Which were both well presented and super delicious. I especially loved how the pineapple pina colada was served in a real pineapple.
For starters, we ordered the Mushroom Bruschettas, Shish Tawook, and Korean chicken Tikka. All the plates were very well garnished and had even better flavors. We really relished the Korean Chicken Tikka (our favorite)!
When the heat started to get out of control we choose to have a change of drink and ordered the cucumber and basil vodka lemonade which I must say is the most refreshing drink I ever had.
For mains, we ordered the Penne pasta in arrabbiata sauce, as the plates are so copious one plate was perfect for Albina and me.
