Spring sun calls for hair ties and buns, and that’s when turbans can save the day by instantly glamming up your look. It can help on a bad hair day, or perk up a mundane outfit. To top it all, it is affordable, simple an super easy to drape!
There are numerous ways to drape a turban, today I am sharing a super easy way that you can tie a turban in a few minutes.
What you will need?
A hair scarf.
Fold your scarf diagonally.
Place it over your head.
Securing its place hold all ends of the scarf together at the center infront of your face.
Twist the scarf. This will tighten it and create folds for the perfect drape.
Hold the scarf ends and take it above your head.
Pull the end towards the back making sure the part wrapped around your head is tight and secure.
Tuck it in at the base.
And Voilà!! That’s it! you are ready to rock your turban and have a very stylish day!

Spring season is finally here, and so is the question of how to dress when it’s 38 degrees in the day 22 at night.
So today’s post is about my spring OOTD and my mid-week getaway to this awesome restaurant called Tierra y Mar with the perfect combination of Goan ambiance and Spanish food.
My Spring OOTD
I wore a plunge neck backless crop top. Spring means flowers, and what makes my top perfect is it’s a beautiful floral print for spring. Bell sleeves to keep it on trend. I paired it with high waist black jeans and a black strap faux leather belt and black pointed toe sneakers.
I styled my hair into boxer braids and accessorized with a two-piece necklace and my new favorite sunnies. I always carry a little cap to protect myself from the sun, nowadays I am loving my Baker Boy Hat.

I always make it a point to carry a mid-season trench, to be ready for the sudden weather changes that are so common in spring.
Let’s go – Tierra Y Mar
Tierra Y Mar is a 15 – 20-minute drive from Panjim city. It is a hidden gem that is not visible from the main road. To access this restaurant you have to take a small path through the Paper Boat Collective store.
We were pleasantly surprised by the deco that is very traditional Goan style with the coconut palm-thatched roof, and a very beautiful theme of blue and white, a little hint of Greece in Goa!
Jude and I were super excited to have discovered this restaurant and couldn’t wait to try out the food, hoping it would be as good as the deco and ambiance of this place!
Tierra Y Mar offers a very tempting Spanish menu which changes depending on the catch of the day and they have a very interactive style of order placement. They explain to you what they have, and suggest different ways to prepare it, so you can choose as per your preference. I love this personalized concept that makes it really unique and made me feel special 🙂

Yes guys! You guessed it right… Barbie is screaming “VINYL FASHION”!!!
From colored Vinyl to clear PVC, from coats to heels we have seen it all on the Runway Fashion SS18.
Vinyl has many names in the fashion world – Patent leather or PU, glossy leather and even plastic. This material does wonders in emphasizing curves. It has been questioned if it’s a risqué or chic over the years. Today, celebrities like the Kardashian,Rihanna, Bella and Gigi Hadid have been spotted rocking the vinyl fashion! It’s truly a fresh take on chic – we call it plastic chic 🤩 Styled properly you can really make a “cool girl” fashion statement.
So are u prepared to carry the most daring fashion trend of this season? Here are some of our favorite most wearable looks:
1. Vinyl Lace up Skirt
Vinyl skirts are one of the hottest items of clothing right now. To keep the look sober team it with a simple tee.
2. Vinyl Trousers
Vinyl trousers are the cool girl must have. They look great with heels or trainers.
3. Vinyl Boots
If trousers skirts or coats are too much for you but still want to carry out the trend, boots are the way to go!
I am back with a Trend Alert post, today we are talking of the famous Baker boy hats also known by other names such as poor boy, fisherman hat etc. – no matter what name you give it, wearing this hat is super trendy and screams cool gal style. Continue reading “Trend Alert: Baker Boy Hat”
I love creating fusion looks – mixing my Indian pieces with my western clothes to create some stylish indo-western looks, and as tomorrow is Republic day, I thought it would be fun to share these looks with you guys. I hope this gives you some inspiration to show off your ethnic side in an ultra-modern way!
My first look is an extremely chic look which is great for office wear, a lunch date and why not even an evening apero! I wore my favorite crisp white shirt with gold straight pants from Global Desi .
To give this look the ethnic touch I wore a statement neckpiece and a dupatta that I pleated and tucked in my belt.
I love this look as it is very elegant, super easy to carry off and really comfortable.
My second look is very casual, effortless style that makes you look like a natural fashionista! I teamed my black basics with a beautiful vest with Indian work that really added the drama to this look! To amplify the ethnic touch I went with the traditional jhumkas and bangles.
How are you all doing? Are you ready for the festive season? I love Diwali, it is one of the biggest festivals of India. This ‘Festival of Lights’ is a fun-filled time, with colorful decoration, diyas to light up the place and beautiful rangoli designs. All this calls for a perfect Diwali Outfit, bold on colors and high on accessories. Continue reading “Traditional Exhuberance: my Diwali OOTD! “
I am a lover of flowery prints and for a long time blossoms were the prints for spring and summer, but now most of the designers have incorporated these spellbinding bloom prints in their Fall/ winter collection 2017. Wearing floral prints in a darker shade is officially a trend now and these prints can be seen on everything from dresses to shoes and bags.
